The Digital Craftsman
I don't charge for typing. I charge for knowing what NOT to type.
I've been writing code since 2001. I've seen frameworks born promising to change the world, only to die two years later. I've seen companies spend fortunes on "modern" architectures that ended up being a maintenance nightmare.
My name is Jose Manuel Chacón, and Ionastec is my trench.
At this stage of the game, I no longer seek the trendy technology. I seek Boring Technology. The kind that is solid, scales well, is secure, and allows business owners to sleep well at night.
Why Ionastec?
Because the web development market has become polarized:
- On one side, the big consulting firms charging premium rates while assigning juniors to chip away at the code.
- On the other, low-cost freelancers who vanish when the website breaks.
I operate in the middle. I am a Software Architect working hand-in-hand with you. No intermediaries, no broken telephone games, and no smoke.
Currently serving as CTO at Juice Studio, leading teams and putting out fires in large-scale projects. Ionastec is my space for high-level consulting, auditing, and technical reflection.
The Personal Side (because ultimately you work with people)
I am a father of two children. That has taught me two things I apply to software:
- Patience: Good things take time.
- Pragmatism: I don't have time for nonsense. If something doesn't add value, it's out.
If you're looking for someone to say yes to everything and install 40 plugins, I'm not your guy. If you're looking for someone to care for your digital business as if it were their own, let's talk.
